The F56 MINI Eventuri intake system is another example of our "complete system" principle.
This is a closed system that ensures the turbocharger doesn't draw hot air from the engine compartment. Instead, it incorporates a functional hood scoop that forces ambient air into the intake duct. This duct has a larger internal volume than the standard version and also draws air from the storage area above the radiator. The combination of a closed system with a scoop results in lower intake temperatures than the standard airbox and prevents heat ingress, a common problem, especially in higher-performance MINIs. To ensure the most consistent airflow possible, we use our patented filter housing in conjunction with a CNC-machined MAF tube. The OEM intake system draws air from behind the front grille, above the radiator. The ambient air intake openings are relatively small and can therefore lead to heat buildup in the intake, particularly in a tuned MINI. The OEM hood scoop doesn't directly supply air to the intake tract, and since the hood already has two cutouts beneath the scoop, we decided to utilize this feature and redesign the scoop. Our scoop is a direct replacement for the OEM part and snaps into place using the same mounting method. It features two intake ramps that direct outside air through the existing cutouts in the hood into the intake duct (see below). As the vehicle accelerates, more air is forced into the duct, minimizing intake temperatures and preventing heat buildup. wird.Die The scoop features a redesigned profile with a longer top surface to cover the openings, which also contributes to a more aggressive look. Made from 100% prepreg carbon fiber, the scoop offers incredible aesthetics for the vehicle. To further enhance the aesthetics, we used a V-shaped split weave with the carbon fiber to create a symmetrical profile that works well and positions the scoop perfectly in the center of the hood.

Carbon inlet channel:
The OEM duct only draws air from behind the front grille and is very shallow above the slant panel. We redesigned the duct to draw air from both the grille and the scoop. Furthermore, our duct has a much larger internal volume, allowing the intake system to breathe with less restriction. To protect against engine bay heat, the duct features a flexible rubber ring around the openings at the bottom of the hood, which seals against the hood when closed. It also has a stretchable rubber lip around the opening to the filter housing, ensuring a good seal with the filter while allowing for engine movement.

Performance data:
Dyno tests were performed on both a Cooper S and a JCW. The Cooper S had a Stage 1 remap for the stock airbox and Eventuri exhaust. The JCW had a Stage 2 remap and downpipe for the stock airbox and Eventuri exhaust. The Cooper S showed a peak gain of approximately 8 hp and 11 ft-lb of torque, but higher mid-range gains of 15 hp and 25 ft-lb of torque with a good gain throughout the rev range. Similarly, the Stage 2 JCW saw peak gains of 15 hp, but much higher mid-range gains of 27 hp and 26 ft-lb of torque with a very good power increase across the entire rev range.These performance improvements were measured after only changing the stock airbox for the Eventuri intake - all other modifications were present for both the stock airbox and the Eventuri intake.

The gains measured on the dyno translate to improved part-throttle and full-throttle response on the road, with the car pulling much more eagerly towards the redline. The tests were conducted back-to-back on the same day, and temperatures were monitored.
