The 4.0L V8 biturbo engine in the Audi RS6 and RS7 models features an indirect charge air cooling system. Consequently, the charge air is not cooled using ambient air as the cooling medium (as is typical), but rather with a dedicated coolant circuit. A reduction in coolant temperature therefore directly translates to improved charge air cooling performance. This is precisely where the advantages of WAGNERTUNING auxiliary water coolers come into play.
The newly developed Competition racing core of the WAGNERTUNING high-performance water cooler increases the cooling volume of the standard water cooler by a further 65%. The ratio between inner and outer cooling surface area generates maximum heat transfer while simultaneously allowing sufficient airflow to adjacent components (e.g., the engine water cooler behind it) for their heat exchange. Furthermore, the water coolers are equipped with a thermally conductive, anti-corrosion coating, ensuring long-lasting cooling performance. Installation of the system is also straightforward and plug-and-play, thanks to our installation instructions. & play feasible.
