The 3.0 liter B58.2 turbo engine of the specified BMW & Toyota models are equipped with an indirect charge air cooling system. The cooling of the charge air is therefore achieved by a water-cooled intercooler, which is integrated directly into the intake manifold.

The WAGNERTUNING intake manifold with integrated intercooler features a novel performance core, specifically developed for the demanding requirements and tight space constraints of the B58.2 engine, offering 128% more external core volume compared to the original intercooler. The optimized ratio of internal to external cooling surface area generates maximum heat transfer while simultaneously ensuring the best possible internal airflow. The CNC-machined end tanks, machined from solid material, were designed using CFD simulations for optimal airflow characteristics. The result is outstanding cooling performance with minimal backpressure. This kit is therefore also suitable for racing applications. Optimal cooling of the charged air leads to a significant increase in power!

All WAGNERTUNING intercoolers are equipped with a heat-conducting, anti-corrosion coating, ensuring long-lasting cooling performance. Installation of the system is also straightforward and plug-and-play thanks to our installation instructions. & play feasible.
