The Competition high-performance intercooler has the following core dimensions (530mm x 205mm x 95mm = 10,300cm³) and thus offers a 20% larger frontal area and 86% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. It utilizes a new Competition high-performance core (tube-fin) developed specifically for the demands of the Subaru WRX STi. The cast aluminum end tanks were designed using CAD and optimized for the best possible internal airflow with the aid of CFD simulations. The intercooler's inlet and outlet remain unchanged. The backpressure of the intercooler is identical to that of the stock intercooler. An anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties protects our intercoolers from environmental influences. This guarantees long-lasting and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. Installation is simple and straightforward (plug and play) by replacing the OEM intercooler. All our products undergo continuous quality control.
