LEIB CAN Exhaust PRO flap control for BMW M4 | F82 F83

LEIB CAN EXHAUST PRO - for complete control.

Plug & Installation takes approximately 30 minutes without cutting or soldering. No prior knowledge is required, thanks to the online illustrated installation instructions. Alternatively, we recommend installation by a professional workshop or one of our dealers. Automotive connectors ensure full functionality. The LEIB CAN BUS module, with its E1 approval and CE marking, meets the highest standards for the vehicle's BUS system.

Main functions:

EXHAUST VALVE CONTROL | Adjustable in the modes: Open - Series - Closed

START STOP OFF | The engine start/stop function can be deactivated (this can be set in the menu).

STAGE | In the instrument cluster, after 'ignition on', the speed and RPM needles move to their maximum positions and back down.

DELETER | The fault that occurs when replacing the downpipe(s) is suppressed - no fault code entry, no engine warning light.

TEMPERATURE DISPLAY | A selectable temperature can be displayed via an LED on the speedometer in the instrument cluster.

SOUNDTUNING | The 'burbling' or 'popping' sound can be deactivated (if already present).

FLASHLIGHT | A flashing light show can be activated by briefly flashing the headlights once (customizable in the menu)

CAT HEATING | The 'heating' of the catalytic converters can be deactivated - thus, cold starts can be switched off.

CLEAR ERROR MEMORY | The complete fault memory of all control units in the vehicle can be cleared on command.

Additional features:

The LEIB CAN EXHAUST modules can be operated together with the optionally available LEIB CAN BOOST module (boost pressure gauge).

User information:

EXHAUST VALVE CONTROL | Control via rocker switch on the multifunction steering wheel

TEMPERATURE DISPLAY | Available temperatures: [1] Engine oil [2] Intake air [3] Transmission oil [4] Coolant [5] Exhaust gas

Briefly pressing the RES button on the multifunction steering wheel saves the current flap mode for the next engine start.

Visual confirmation of the selected flap mode via turn signal activation - only in the instrument cluster (not visible from the outside)

All functions can be set in the menu (instrument cluster) if required (please download the function description online)

Important information:

The use of the LEIB CAN EXHAUST module does not generate any error messages.

The LEIB CAN EXHAUST module is automatically DISABLED when a BMW tester is connected to the vehicle.

To prevent dual functionality, the exhaust flap control functions can only be operated and the temperature display is only visible when the cruise control and limit function are off.
