Air duct inlet:

To transport air to the brake cooling outlet, a suitable intake is essential. The M2 F87 does not have intake ducts in the front bumper from the factory, unlike other models. z.B The M2 Competition F87N. However, what your car has are two radiators on the sides behind the bumper! So why not utilize the existing airflow?

To prevent the air from swirling randomly in the wheel well after the radiators, we developed a guide duct that can be installed with minimal effort. This duct directs the air around the wheel and connects to the outlet via a 40 cm hose (per side). Our tests have shown that this prevents significant back pressure from building up behind the radiator, and even at extreme speeds and increasing pressure, the ducts do not obstruct the escaping air from behind the radiator.

Air duct outlet:

For many vehicles (including the M2), brake cooling is recommended even under moderate loads, and even outside of racetracks. This not only improves braking performance but also drastically reduces wear on the friction surfaces. Our backing plate utilizes airflow channeling to the center of the brake disc to harness the turbine effect for internal cooling. We direct the airflow at a specific angle to the disc to minimize heat loss and maximize the efficiency of the available air volume. The lightweight construction, combined with powder-coated aluminum, makes the backing plate sufficiently strong while remaining light and durable. Additionally, the bearings closest to the brake disc are shielded from heat to extend their lifespan (where necessary).
