Audi RS3 8Y Active Valve Control - flap control

Would you like to have more individual control over your exhaust flaps?

With our Active Valve Control, you gain complete control over your Audi RS3 8Y.

Our flap module is connected inside the vehicle and can be completely removed without leaving any residue.

The following functionalities are available via the Drive Select menu:

Audi Drive Select: Efficiency + Comfort mode

Both exhaust flaps closed (even during cold start)

Audi Drive Select: Auto Mode

Both exhaust flaps behave as original.

Both exhaust flaps permanently open

Audi Drive Select: RS Performance mode

Innovative Features

Protection of the engine (safety function)

Driving at full throttle with the flaps closed can cause damage; therefore, for safety reasons, our module opens both flaps from a speed of approximately 4000 RPM to relieve the engine.

Flap reversal via original button

You have the option to reverse the flaps in both Comfort and Dynamic modes.

This means: You're driving in Comfort mode with the flaps closed, but would like them to be open? No problem: Press the ESP button twice in succession to reverse the flaps.

Module deactivation via original button

You have the option to completely deactivate our flap control; to do this, you must select your "Start"&Press and hold the "Stop Automatic" button for approximately 5 seconds. Repeating this procedure will reactivate the module.

SSA Memory Function

The last state of the start&The stop function is saved and restored after the engine is restarted.

Audi RS3 8Y with two exhaust flaps: 294 kW/400 hp

Audi RS 8Y Performance with two exhaust flaps: 299 kW/407 hp
