After installing this module, the electronics automatically remember the last setting of the warning tone (either ON or OFF) when you start your vehicle and automatically switch the vehicle back to this mode the next time it is started.

Therefore, if you switch it OFF once, the acoustic warning tone/alert tone will remain OFF until you press this button in the infotainment system again.
