FAQ – Tuning for BMW M models

Is an Eventuri intake really worth it for the M model?
Technically and emotionally: Yes. The standard air intake system is often a compromise between noise and cost. Eventuri systems utilize the "Venturi effect" to accelerate the airflow. With M engines (like the S55 or S58), we often measure sharper turbo response and a real increase in power, not to mention the fantastic sound.

Do you have any solutions for the quiet sound in the M3/M4 (G80/G82)?
The gasoline particulate filter (GPF) significantly dampens the sound of current generation engines. We offer legal ECE-approved exhaust systems that make the sound bassier and more voluminous. For pure racetrack use, we also offer solutions without a GPF (please note legal information).

Do I need to deactivate the adaptive M suspension when lowering the car?
Not necessarily. If you only Threaded springs (z.BIf you install coilovers (from KW or ST), your electronic dampers will remain fully functional. If you install a complete coilover suspension (V3/V4), the electronic system is often deactivated with a "deactivation kit"—but in return, you get a significantly more performance-oriented damping characteristic than stock.
