The Competition high-performance intercooler has the following core dimensions (590mm x 225mm x 145mm [stepped] = 16.6L), offering a 30% larger inlet area and 47% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The Competition high-performance core is a high-quality tube fin core with internal turbulators. This keeps the total weight of the intercooler, despite its size, to just 9.65kg. The intercooler end boxes are made of cast aluminum and were optimized using CFD flow analysis. This intercooler kit was developed specifically for the high demands of the Mini Cooper S JCW. Overall, this intercooler has far less backpressure than the standard intercooler. In addition, all of our intercoolers feature an anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties. This guarantees long-lasting and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. Completely ready-to-install kit; simply replace the standard intercooler – plug and play. Tested and pressure-resistant up to 6 bar. All our products are subject to continuous quality control. Suitable for racing.
