These emblems are professionally refinished / painted glossy black.

All emblems are elaborately processed using several special processes.

The chrome surface is roughened to maintain its paint resistance and smoothed to a paintable finish. The surface is then primed and painted several times in a high-quality "gloss black" finish, and sealed with a clear coat.

We only supply you with goods of the highest quality.

Assembly:

Heat the "old" chrome-plated VW California sign (if present) e.g. with a hairdryer (so that the adhesive becomes "soft").

Pull it off.

Clean the areas of adhesive residue.

Remove the protective film / carrier film (original) from the supplied lettering.

Now stick the lettering on - DONE!
