ST sport springs

ST suspensions' wide range of springs, with over 1,000 applications, is one of the few lowering springs on the market that, when combined with the standard suspension, improves a vehicle's handling. In addition to an appealing lowering effect, ST suspensions sport springs enable increased cornering speed and dynamic driving.

Great look for every car

Manufactured from chrome-silicon steel using a cold-rolling process to OEM quality, ST suspensions sport springs are multi-tempered and coated with an epoxy resin. This allows them to withstand a wide range of weather conditions. Depending on the vehicle model, ST suspensions sport springs can achieve subtle lowering of, for example, 20 mm at the front and 15 mm on the drive axle in the current BMW M3 (E9x series), an impressive 30 mm on both axles in the Audi A1, or up to 60 mm in the VW Golf Mk1. Installing ST suspensions sport springs not only lowers the body's center of gravity compared to the standard suspension, but also improves driving dynamics. During sharp steering movements, such as during evasive maneuvers and fast cornering, the reduced body roll reduces body movement. Furthermore, compression and rebound are reduced, resulting in more agile handling.

The ideal spring rate for every lowering

The spring rates of the ST suspensions sport springs harmonize perfectly with the tuning of the standard dampers. Ultimately, the ST suspensions sport springs, in conjunction with the respective vehicle weight, wheel loads, and the intended lowering level, have a significant influence on the compression and rebound behavior of the standard suspension. Made of chrome-silicon steel, the ST suspensions sport springs not only support the vehicle's weight, but also guarantee more direct driving pleasure thanks to their specially tuned spring rates. Depending on the level of lowering—for example, a reduction in the center of gravity of 20 mm, 30 mm, or 40 mm—the ST suspensions sport springs have different spring rates that harmonize with the standard dampers. The greater the lowering level, the higher the spring rate.

Great variety, not only for tuning enthusiasts

ST suspensions' sport springs are available not only for current and new vehicles such as the Audi A7 Sportback or Mercedes-Benz E-Class, among others. Fans of timeless models such as the BMW E30 or VW Golf Mk1 will also find the ideal sport springs in ST suspensions' product range. ST suspensions' tested sport springs are even available for unusual vehicles. The range of sport springs currently includes approximately 1,000 applications for 30 different car brands, from Alfa Romeo to Volvo.
