Key performance indicators for each performance level
The multi-map technology developed by DTE Systems optimizes up to nine channels in real time – whether common rail or boost pressure, turbo pressure, intake manifold pressure, or air mass: PowerControl perfectly controls the most technologically advanced engines of the latest generations in a multi-dimensional multi-map with all relevant engine parameters. This is achieved through up to three driver-selectable programs, each with seven power levels. PowerControl X operates approximately four times faster and five times more precisely than its predecessors.

The smart tuning of the next generation
In addition to the keypad, the DTE PowerControl X performance upgrade can now also be operated from the cockpit. The following functions are available: u.a. including:

• Switching the tuning box on and off via smartphone
• Switching between the Sport, Dynamic, and Efficiency programs
• With a configurable warm-up timer, where the driver determines when the DTE tuning kicks in.
• Once set, the performance boost works even without an existing smartphone connection.

DTE Systems gives you the freedom to choose
With the new performance upgrade, you have the option to choose between three different and fully customizable driving programs: Sport, Dynamic and Efficiency.

Note: The Efficiency program is only available with PowerControl X.

  In Sport mode, all engine parameters are optimized for maximum performance. The vehicle reacts more directly for a more responsive driving experience.
• Dynamic
  Dynamic mode is a true all-rounder and well-balanced for long-distance driving. The vehicle responds more dynamically for greater agility in every rev range.
• Efficiency (PowerControl X only)
  The Efficiency mode optimizes the engine's efficiency, thus supporting a fuel-efficient driving style for fuel savings of up to 15%.

The innovative sports instruments, exclusive to the new PowerControl app, provide a complete overview of the vehicle's performance.

Sports Instrument Highlights:

• Display of turbo and boost pressure as well as engine speed

Reprogramming when changing vehicles
Your performance boost, simply to go
A DTE performance upgrade can be installed in just a few simple steps. Reverting to the original factory settings is also possible at any time. This means the performance upgrade can be reused in your next vehicle if you change cars.

Reprogramming for the new vehicle is free of charge twice (PowerControl X), provided the new vehicle has an equivalent engine type.If you switch to a different motor type, additional hardware adjustments may be necessary.

Efficiency mode for even greater fuel savings
Save up to 15% on fuel
The DTE PowerControl X performance upgrade features a switchable Efficiency mode. This Eco program can reduce fuel consumption by up to 15%, making the tuning pay for itself quickly. The main savings potential lies in the optimized torque, as full power is available even at low engine speeds. This allows for earlier gear changes and fuel-saving driving in lower gears.
