Instructions for use:
For all types of hydraulically operated brake and clutch systems that require a silicone-free synthetic fluid
require.
Specially developed for thermally highly stressed carbon and ceramic brakes in racing, reduces required air
inlets for brake cooling to a minimum.
Also for conventional brakes with steel discs and for conventional hydraulic clutch actuations
suitable.
Exceeds the requirements of DOT 3 and DOT 5.1 standards, except for viscosity at -40°C / -40°F.

Extreme heat resistance and stability:
The very high dry boiling point of MOTUL RBF 660 FACTORY LINE (325°C / 617°F) exceeds the requirements of the silicone-free DOT 5.1 (260°C min / 500°F min) and DOT 4 (230°C min / 446°F mini) standards, enabling effective braking even under extreme conditions. It also improves aerodynamic performance by reducing the need for brake cooling air intakes on vehicles.
The very high wet boiling point of MOTUL RBF 660 FACTORY LINE (205°C / 401°F) exceeds the requirements of
Standards DOT 5.1 on a silicone-free basis (180°C min / 356°F min) and DOT 4 (155°C min / 311°F min) and thus enables efficient braking.
DOT 3, DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 brake fluids have the property of absorbing moisture from the air, which lowers their boiling point and increases the risk of "vapor lock" phenomena.
The wet boiling point is measured after the brake fluid has been enriched with 3% water to describe the condition of the fluid after approximately one year of use.
