Eventuri's latest product development in England is aimed at the BMW E39 M5. The intake for the BMW E39 is designed as a complete solution and replaces the OWM airbox system. The goal of building an intake system for the M5 that works with the OEM ECU map and MAF sensors is achieved through two components. The square OEM airbox housing is replaced with the patented Eventuri housing, which, like all Eventuri intakes, guarantees a laminar, even airflow without resistance. Furthermore, the two scoops integrated into the fog lights in this intake system ensure a true cold airflow.

The difference compared to the OEM system is immediately noticeable to every M5 driver. The efficient air supply is achieved through the patented Venturi technology in the filter housings. Equipped with the new GEN2 filters, the airflow is bundled and directed in a straight line, shielded from engine heat without significant friction losses.

On the test bench, the system shows not only improved response but also the usual awesome intake sound and promises a power increase of up to 8 hp.

Even at first glance, the Eventuri intake looks quite different from many other aftermarket intakes. Unlike most intakes, which use the same cone filter/pipe/heat shield configuration, the Eventuri design is fundamentally different and has been patented. On the street, this means more power with a smoother delivery, as well as sharper throttle response, as the airflow isn't inhibited by abrupt geometry changes and therefore remains more laminar.
