The Eventuri carbon intake system for the Audi B8 RS4 RS5 was developed to increase engine performance, improve handling, and enhance the overall driving experience. The key aspects are the balance between aerodynamic efficiency and air intake temperature. An open system was chosen, but with differences from other aftermarket airboxes. This can be seen in the shape of the carbon housing and the position and shape of the air filter.

The airbox is manufactured using the prepreg carbon process.
