ASR CB2 flap control for Cupra Ateca

The ASR flap control CB2 offers you full control over the exhaust flaps of your Cupra Ateca – precisely tuned to the driving modes and enhanced with practical additional functions such as SSA Memory and Misfire MemoryThis is how you can optimize the sound, behavior and comfort of your vehicle entirely according to your wishes.

Optimized flap control via driving profiles

The control system intelligently adapts the behavior of the exhaust flaps to the selected driving profile:

• Cupra/Sport: flaps permanently open

• Comfort: Opening occurs at 3000 rpm or 80% accelerator pedal position

• Offroad/Eco: Opening from 4500 rpm or 80% accelerator pedal position

Easy Switch – Quick operation via double-click

A double-click on the ESP or Set button opens or closes the flaps independently of the driving profile. Automatic opening above 4500 rpm remains active. Operation is conveniently controlled via the vehicle menu under CAR → Setup.

Series &Workshop mode

The module can be completely deactivated by pressing and holding the SSA button for 7 seconds.
Your vehicle will then behave as if it were in its original factory condition – ideal for workshop visits.
The SSA light automatically signals successful activation or deactivation.

SSA Memory (from GEN2 onwards)

The start-stop system setting is saved and automatically restored after each vehicle start.

Misfire Memory

In Cupra mode, the misfire feature remains active even after restarting the engine. Switching through the modes again is not necessary.

Optimized behavior after vehicle start

Without control unit (standard):

• Pre-facelift: Cupra mode remains, but flaps are closed.

• Facelift: Start in Comfort mode, flaps closed

With ASR control:

• Pre-facelift: Cupra mode retained, flaps open

• Facelift: Start in Comfort mode, flaps open

Installation is quick and easy in the footwell behind the A-pillar trim.
