ASR exhaust flap control RX1 – full control over the exhaust flap of your BMW X7

The ASR RX1 exhaust flap control was developed for BMW models with an electric exhaust flap (type BE1) and allows you to manually control the exhaust system via a remote control. This lets you decide how your BMW sounds – regardless of the selected Drive Select mode.

Regardless of Drive Select

The vehicle sound is no longer tied to the selected driving profile. You can decide on the flap position yourself at any time.

True series mode – even on restart

The RX1 can be completely deactivated if needed. Ideal for workshop, service, and MOT appointments without changing any settings.

Freely programmable start mode

Customize the starting mode for your vehicle. By default, the module remembers the last used mode – but you can also save any mode permanently if desired.

No interference with the CAN bus

The vehicle technology remains untouched:

Plug &Play with original plugs

Installation is quick and requires no modifications to the original vehicle wiring. No wire taps, no damage – completely reversible.

Start mode – individually customizable

The start mode defines the state in which the flap control is active after the ignition is switched on.

• Save last state: Press the "Sport Mode" button five times within 5 seconds.

• Set a different mode: Press and hold the desired mode button for approximately 10 seconds.

Five flap movements confirm successful programming.

Assembly

Installation is done via plug-in & Play directly at the exhaust flaps. For optimal reception, we recommend installation in the trunk. The cables are sufficiently long for this purpose.
The entire unit can be disassembled without leaving any residue at any time.
