CB2 flap control for controlling the exhaust flaps via the Drive Select with additional SSA and misfire memory function

With this control unit you have the option of controlling your exhaust flaps via the Drive Select and the exhaust button.

Functions at a glance:

Drive Select (Individual: Engine Sound):

Dynamic: flaps permanently open

Auto: Open from 3000rpm / 80% accelerator (shortly before kickdown)

Comfort: Open from 4500 rpm / 80% accelerator (shortly before kickdown)

Exhaust button:

With a single click of the exhaust button, the flaps can be opened and closed independently of the Drive Select. The automatic opening at 4500 rpm is always maintained. With the 30E3 update, the button is disabled. In this case, you can open and close the flaps independently of the Drive Select by double-clicking the ESP button.

Series mode / workshop mode:

Press and hold the SSA button for 7 seconds to deactivate the module. Everything behaves as if no module were installed. As feedback for successful activation or deactivation, the SSA lamp automatically switches.

Gearbox S detection:

As soon as you shift the transmission to S, both flaps open. (Function only available with original transmission coding.)

SSA Memory:

The automatic start-stop setting is saved and restored after the vehicle is started.

Misfire Memory:

In Dynamic (Individual: Engine/Transmission) mode, the misfire persists even after the engine has started. No more annoying gearshifts.

Assembly

Installation is plug and play in the footwell behind the A-pillar trim (instructions are included in the delivery).
