Significantly enhance your VW Touareg CR with the original rear view camera.

Here we supply you with the complete package for retrofitting the original rear view camera - suitable for your VW Touareg CR with already installed trailer maneuvering assistant.

In these Touareg III models, the push button with integrated rearview camera is already installed at the factory. The camera is simply not fully electrically connected and not "activated."

+ Activation of the live image when engaging reverse gear or by pressing the parking aid button

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here completes the automatic activation of the rear view camera with the help of the innovative KECODI APP that is already pre-configured for you.

Installation time: approx. 3 hours

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)).

Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.

Vehicles of the model year 2023 with installed PR number NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) or vehicles of the previous model years (e.g. 2022, 2021, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

Product attributes:

The retrofitting of the original rear view camera / Rear Assist is possible on all VW Touareg CR models with built-in trailer manoeuvring assistant (= e.g. PR number 8A9 or 1D9 ; display in the multimedia system when towing a trailer - these models already have the push button shown with full rear view camera function installed) as well as with one of the following built-in navigation systems:

Navigation system Pro (PR number: I8J = 9.2 inch touch display with surrounding buttons, see product image)

Premium navigation system (PR number: 7US = 15-inch touch display)

The supplied cable set connects the existing camera to the multimedia system in the glove compartment.

Active auxiliary lines/fields are displayed depending on the steering angle! Original system – with ALL functions as installed at the factory.

If the maneuvering assistant is not installed, you will need the rear view camera retrofit package with article no.: 10932
