VW Crafter sy electrically foldable mirror retrofit package

Significantly upgrade your VW Crafter SY with the original electrically folding exterior mirrors.

Here we supply you with the complete package for retrofitting the original electrically folding mirrors - suitable for your VW Crafter SY.

It is operated via the new switch position in the driver's door and via the multimedia system.

In addition, the exterior mirrors may have folded in when you locked your VW Crafter with the remote key.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the supplied KECODI coding interface, with the help of the innovative and pre-configured KECODI APP, completely automatically activates the electrically folding exterior mirrors, including the operation of your multimedia system.

• - 1x installation instructions (German)

Product attributes:

Retrofitting the original electrically folding exterior mirrors is possible on all VW Crafter SY models of all types and all equipment variants with the currently installed PR number 6XN (= electrically adjustable mirror glasses with exterior mirror heating).

NOT suitable for VW Crafter SY with PR number 6XA (= manually adjustable mirror glass without exterior mirror heating). We can retrofit these models directly on-site upon request.

Installation information:

The existing mirror housings and the mirror glasses are individual components - these are dismantled and mounted on the new, electrically folding mirrors supplied here - these therefore DO NOT need to be replaced.

The existing mirror rotation switch in the driver's door will be replaced because you will have one more position later.

Product compatibility:

The vehicle manufacturer installs two different door control units (Lowline, Highline), each of which enables more or fewer additional functions.

To determine the part number of the door control units, you can either read the part number directly on the door control unit or read the two door control units using a tester (e.g., KECODI, VCDS, ODIS). Generally, the following applies:

Structure of part number: XX0-959-?9X

The position of the ? (question mark) is important here.

? = 5 = Retrofitting possible - the door control unit does not need to be replaced to retrofit the folding mirrors.

? = 3 = Retrofitting not possible - the door control unit (driver, passenger or both) must be replaced.

If the door control units need to be replaced, they can be ordered under item no.: 24116.
