Audi A5 8T 8F passenger airbag key switch retrofit package

Retrofit the deactivation switch for the passenger airbag on your Audi A5 8T 8F.

This allows you to deactivate the passenger side airbag - this is particularly recommended when transporting children/child seats.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here completes the automatic activation of the key switch in the glove compartment using the innovative KECODI that is already pre-configured for you.

The retrofitting of the original passenger airbag switch is possible on all AUDI A5 / S5 / RS5 8T 8F models of all years of manufacture (facelift + pre-facelift), all body styles (coupe, sportback, cabriolet) and all equipment variants (with or without illuminated glove compartment, etc.).

NOT suitable for US models (= USA).

You can turn this "lock" ON or OFF with the key blade of the current remote key and thus switch the passenger airbag ON or OFF.

When the system is deactivated, this is indicated on the new hazard warning light switch (Passenger Airbag OFF).
