Audi A3 8V Bluetooth music stream mmi retrofit package

You want to stream/play music via Bluetooth from your mobile phone to your MMI multimedia system.

Here we supply you with all the necessary parts for this very simple retrofit.

The control of the tracks and the display of the track names is done via the mobile phone - technically speaking, the audio signal is sent to the MMI via the AUX-IN input.

The retrofitting of this A2DP Bluetooth interface for the transmission of audio signals is possible on all AUDI A3 / S3 / RS3 8V models of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift / facelift), all body styles (sportback, convertible, sedan, 3-door) as well as all multimedia systems with an already installed AUX-IN connection (e.g. PR no.: UE3, interface for external use AUX-IN).

Any existing Bluetooth hands-free system can of course continue to be used in parallel.

NOT suitable for models without AUX-IN connection, we only retrofit these on site.

With this solution, the tracks are controlled and the track names are displayed via the mobile phone - technically speaking, the audio signal is routed to the MMI via the AUX input.

Finally, NO coding work is required.

Installation information:

Pull out the MMI unit.

For easy disassembly of the MMI unit, we recommend using our release brackets, which you can order at any time under item number 75005.

Plug in the cable set - place the permanently connected Bluetooth receiver behind the MMI unit.

Connect the additional power supply cable set to the fuse holder.

Open Bluetooth menu on your phone

Search for Bluetooth receivers and connect once

The device will beep once when the connection is successful. Your phone will then be permanently paired and will not need to be reconnected each time you start the vehicle.
