VW Touareg Cr reversing camera retrofit package

Significantly enhance your VW Touareg CR with the original rear view camera.

Here we supply you with the complete package for retrofitting the original rear view camera - especially suitable for your VW Touareg CR.

+ Visual display of the live image on the screen as well as the active and moving auxiliary lines when steering

+ Activation of the live image when engaging reverse gear or by pressing the parking aid button

+ After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the coding dongle supplied here uses the innovative APP that is already pre-configured for you to fully automatically activate the rear view camera - NO further coding work with a tester is necessary.

Installation time: approx. 4 hours

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)).

Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.

Vehicles of the model year 2023 with installed PR number NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) or vehicles of the previous model years (e.g. 2022, 2021, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

Retrofitting the original rear view camera / Rear Assist is possible on all VW Touareg CR models of all years with one of the following installed navigation systems:

Navigation system Pro (PR number: I8J = 9.2 inch touch display with surrounding buttons, see product image)

Premium navigation system (PR number: 7US = 15-inch touch display)

In general: IF navigation is installed, the rear view camera can always be retrofitted.

Suitable for all VW Touareg CR models with all parking aid systems such as: rear parking aid (PR no.: 7X1), front + rear (PR no.: 7X2), park steering assistant (PR no.: 7X5) as well as suitable for your VW without parking aid (PR no.: 7X0).

The existing tailgate push button will be replaced 1:1 with the original VW Touareg CR push button with integrated rear view camera.
