The intercooler still allows sufficient airflow to the water cooler and is also very lightweight. As a result, the intercooler has a total weight of only 9.2 kg. The cast aluminum end tanks were designed using CAD and optimized for the best possible internal airflow using CFD simulations. An integrated air guide in the end tank ensures homogeneous filling of the Competition high-performance core.
